Replacement Schools

Designing replacement schools is STR’s specialty. These schools are typically built on the same parcel of land as the existing school and often consolidate school functions into new, efficient 21st century facilities. In most cases, the replacement school resolves space and room configuration issues present at the existing school, and is seen as a better alternative to minimally effective and expensive addition/renovations to the existing school. Frequently, replacement schools are built within 15 feet of the existing school, and STR is adept at coordinating with school officials, community members, and state and local agencies to make sure the project is executed safely, in budget, and on schedule.
