STR works with closely with school districts to develop laboratory standards and to incorporate current National Science Teacher Association guidelines into their science teaching environments.

STR designs a wide variety of labs in response to client needs, from renovations to new facilities at elementary, middle and high schools, and universities. The higher the grade level served, the more advanced the labs become, and STR gives equal and passionate attention to all. STR takes great pride in its most sophisticated labs—filled with special equipment and utility services that respond to advanced chemistry and biology curricula—and the firm is just as proud of its simplest general science and physics instruction and universal labs.

Of particular interest to today’s educators are STEM and STEAM labs that encourage critical thinking in science, technology, engineering, and math and that prepare students to apply their learning in their professional and personal lives. STR’s award-winning labs encourage hands-on learning, exploration, and innovation for students at almost every level.

STR has also designed advanced microbiology and analytical laboratories, as well as specialized research and development laboratories, for its private sector clients, as well as research and instructional laboratories at the university level.
